Slacker......

So....I am a little behind on the blog! OKAY....I am REALLY behind on the blog!!!! I begged and begged forever for a blog and swore I would ALWAYS keep it up to date. I am such a liar!!

Anywho....enough about my faults....let's play some catch up...shall we??

Going ALL THE WAY back to Easter! I mean...we did some major Easter Egg hunting. I think we went to 4? Who knows! I lost count. Brayden loved every one of them! He loved finding the eggs and then once he found them he wanted to pop every one of them open to see what was inside!

So we decided that we needed to dye some eggs this Easter! Well...Brayden loved rolling the eggs around in the bowls...BUT....if you tried to take it away from him...WOW! MELT DOWN! Need I say more? FYI- The black and brown egg (The only ugly ones out of the dozen!) belongs to Daddy Griffin and of course all of the other pretty ones belong to Me and Bray! :)

Now....on to the big birthday bash!!! Bray turned 2 on April 18th! The party was NOTHING short of awesome! He had the best time! Our theme was Handy Manny and I must say it turned out very cute. Bray had all of his best friends (he doesn't really know it yet!) there to celebrate

This gift (from Mommy and Daddy) could have (and almost did!) caused some major damage! He loves his new truck and is still learning how to drive it!

Well...I think that takes care of holidays and birthdays! Now on to some cuteness....

One morning this is how I found my sweet little boy.....He had somehow gotten his shirt around his waist! Don't ask me how...I have no idea!

Moving on....

So I am fixing Bray some lunch one day....I noticed I didn't hear alot of noise in the dining room. I walked in with his lunch and that is what I found. My heart just melted when I saw him. Needless to say...he didn't eat lunch that day!

Happy Mother's Day to me!!! Everyday is Mother's Day with this little muchkin!

Still Here!

I am still here! Things have been sooooo busy lately and I just haven't had a chance to update this thing! I promise it will happen soon!! In the meantime.....This little munchkin will be "2" this Saturday!! It is so hard to believe how fast they grow up!!!!

We went to the Home Depot Workshop Saturday before last. If you have kids....YOU MUST GO! They have the neatest little activities for them! Bray and his daddy built a fire truck crayon holder and a birdhouse and they planted some watermelon seeds. It is so neat and the parents enjoy it as much as the kids do. They have it the first Saturday of every month.

The weekend before last I had the opportunity to take a trip to the beach for the Gulf Coast Women's Conference. God put me in such a wonderful place that weekend. I had a wonderful time! On a side note, it was the very first time I had left Brayden overnight! Yes, you can call me psycho-mom but I have never left him overnight since he was born. I did much better than I thought I would and I must say that God gave me the best husband/daddy ever! Randy is such a good daddy and I didn't worry about them one bit! Sometimes I think that he does a better job than I do! Although, I did feel bad leaving because Bray was a little sick when I left but got better as the weekend went on.

I don't think they missed me too much because their weekend was jam packed! They went shopping Saturday morning after that crazy weather! (What was that about?) Then it was on to Mary Evans's birthday party and then the baseball game. Next up....SNOW! This weather is crazy and I can't tell you how ready I am for warmer weather. Brayden and I are itching to get outside without wearing 4 layers of clothes! I skipped out on the activities Sunday morning at the conference to head on back to Auburn because I was afraid of what the weather might do. We played in the snow when I got home but Brayden HATED it! He just wasn't feeling it. I did manage to get a few pictures.

All in all, I was so glad to be back home with my boys. I had a great time at the conference but I missed them terribly. Distance DOES make the heart grow fonder!!!!

Tractor Ridin'

Brayden and I took a quick trip to Monroeville on Friday. He loves to see his Nana and Paw! To say that he had a blast would be an understatement! His favorite thing to do is ride on Paw's tractor! It was so funny to watch Bray try and steer the tractor! He thought he was actually doing it! He loves his Paw so much! Nobody else exists when he is in the room! We love and miss you Nana and Paw and can't wait to see you again soon!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of my family and friends! I love each and every one of you and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for all of you! I am so blessed! I am also grateful for the unconditional love that God gives me everyday! I know that I am so undeserving of this but he LOVES me anyway! There are days where I don't know what I would do without HIM! I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Brayden got to spend the whole weekend with his cousins, Reid and Winn! They had so much fun! Brayden played so hard on Friday he slept until 9:00am on Saturday and was up and ready for another full day! We miss you Reid and Winn and can't wait to see you again!

School Days!

Brayden started pre-school at Cornerstone United Methodist Church at the beginning of January. It was time! He was pretty much bored hanging out with mommy all day everyday. I have to admit I was kind of looking forward to him going too. He needed some more interaction and he DEFINATELY gets it there. HE LOVES IT! And if he is happy.....then I am happy! In January he started out going on Fridays and now he is going 2 days a week. These are some quick pictures I took this morning. As you can see....he is very eager to go to school! I wonder if he will be that way in about 3 more years??

Wash Your Hair!

I finally did it! After sitting for probably hours on end reading other people's blogs I broke down and had one designed for our family! It looked like so much fun and I must say that it is!!
